Walterscheid 161459 is a genuine K64-only PTO cam type cut-out clutch sealing ring, OEM 1161459, designed specifically for compatible Walterscheid K64 clutch assemblies. This flexible double-lip sealing ring installs in the clutch housing to help protect the internal hub, cams, spring components and bearing surfaces from dirt, moisture and other contaminants.
The seal measures 152.5 mm outside diameter (OD), 99 mm inside diameter (ID), and 11 mm thickness, for an overall size of 152.5 × 99 × 11 mm. Walterscheid identifies this component as K64/2X and manufactures it from ACLATHAN KH92. The seal uses a K64-specific double-lip architecture designed for the corresponding K64 clutch housing and sealing surfaces.
This sealing ring is not the correct replacement for K68 clutches. Walterscheid uses a separate K68-specific sealing ring, part 600836 / OEM 1600836. Although the K64 and K68 seals share the same nominal 152.5 × 99 × 11 mm dimensions, their lip-seal architecture is different. For this reason, the two seals should not be selected or interchanged based on dimensions alone.
