Genuine Walterscheid 1135889 | S5H hardened PTO shafting profile tube, supplied in a 1400 mm length, engineered for high-torque agricultural PTO applications where increased strength and resistance to twisting are critical.

This S5H star profile tube (47 × 61 mm) is manufactured using a dedicated hardening process that significantly improves torsional strength and durability compared to standard S5 tubing. It is specifically designed as an inner profile tube for Walterscheid P600, P700, and PWE675 PTO drivelines, where higher horsepower and driveline load conditions demand reinforced shafting.

To simplify installation and avoid the need to drill through hardened material, this tube is supplied factory pre-drilled with two 10 mm cross holes:

• One end drilled at 22 mm to center

• Opposite end drilled at 14 mm to center

These pre-drilled holes allow compatibility with different S5 profile end yokes, enabling proper roll-pin retention without additional machining.

Although engineered primarily as an inner tube for the applications listed above, the S5H profile shares the same 47 × 61 mm geometry as standard S5 tubing and is therefore dimensionally interchangeable. When matched by profile, length, and driveline configuration, it may also be used as an inner or outer tube in other S5 driveline assemblies.

Due to the hardened construction, this shafting is significantly more resistant to cutting than standard or coated tubing. While the 1400 mm length may be trimmed to achieve the required driveline overall length (OAL), cutting typically requires abrasive cutting discs or equivalent equipment, as standard bandsaw blades may not be suitable for hardened steel.
