The A074T is a heavier 5 mm thick chopper knife designed for the demanding residue conditions associated with corn harvest. Its increased blade thickness provides added strength and durability when processing heavy stalks and high volumes of crop residue, while the smooth cutting edge supports controlled and uniform chopping.

Manufactured by Schumacher, the A074T uses Radura cutting technology and a laser-clad tungsten carbide wear surface. Extremely hard carbide particles are bonded to the cutting area to provide high resistance to abrasive wear and substantially longer service life than a conventional untreated chopper knife.

The carbide-coated edge also creates a self-sharpening effect. As the underlying carrier material gradually wears faster than the carbide layer, the cutting edge remains effective throughout the service life of the knife.
